Classic 1980s New Wave, you're welcome. :)

This isn't political, is it?

No, while the song was in response to the global tensions of the early to mid 1980s and is "about everybody wanting power, about warfare and the misery it causes." (Curt Smith, lead Singer Tears for Fears from a 2014 interview). I intend to use it as a metaphor for how we internally treat ourselves.

Ok, keep going.........

In the ACT Therapy tradition (the one I use) there is the concept of the observer self. This is a part of you that is always there watching. A place where we can seek refuge from the "warfare" of our thoughts and feelings. In the middle of the song there are these lyrics:

"There's a room where the light won't find you

Holding hands while the walls come tumbling down

When they do I'll be right behind you"

How do I find this room?

That is the process of therapy.

Wow that is mean!

Fair point. Here is one of many ways to look at the Zillow listing. place your right index finger on your right nostril and close it off. Then only breath through your left nostril. Count "in, 2, 3, 4" as you breath in and then "out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6" as you breath out. However high you want to count is perfectly ok as long as the out breath is equal to or longer than the in breath.

With Curiosity,

Tom (a therapist)
